IPA Welcomes New Board Member and Looks Ahead to a Busy June

The Illinois Paralegal Association is pleased to welcome Bella Schamber, Senior Litigation Paralegal at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, to the Board of Directors. Bella was appointed at the June 1 Board meeting to fill a vacant Class II Director position for the remainder of the 2026–2028 term. We look forward to her contributions and leadership.

With the recent additions of Nicole Rightmire and Heather Bernal, all eleven Board of Directors seats are now filled.

MCLE Deadline Approaching—
If your attorney’s last name begins with A–M, their MCLE compliance deadline is fast approaching. June 30 is the deadline to complete all required credits. If any attorneys are short on CLE hours—or still need Diversity & Inclusion or Mental Health and Substance Abuse credits—the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism offers several free CLE programs that can help them meet these requirements in time: Free Online CLE - 2Civility
